Mission Statement

The aim of Inverclyde Peace Initiative is to encourage the members of the Inverclyde community to recognize that conflict is an integral part of human development. We support the resolution of conflict through positive non-violent means, and in doing so, work towards a more peaceful and sustainable community where justice, fairness and self respect are promoted.

Objectives

•  Promote awareness of the positive means of conflict resolution in the community.

•  Promote educational opportunities for the use of positive conflict management for members of the community.

•  Support any other initiatives in the community who are working in conflict resolution.

•  Promote partnership with all sectors of the community, including Schools, Churches, training providers, youth groups, rehabilitation services and charitable bodies.
